Project Schedule and Public Involvement

Public involvement is a fundamental aspect of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Section 106 processes, and there are opportunities for the public to participate in the development of the EIS/OEIS. In an effort to improve and strengthen the EIS/OEIS, the military services welcome and appreciate the public’s participation.

This table provides the current project schedule for the Hawaii-California Training and Testing Environmental Impact Statement/Overseas Environmental Impact Statement throughout the National Environmental Policy Act process. This table indicates opportunities for public review and comment under the National Environmental Policy Act and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
