Ice Exercise (ICEX) is a biennial exercise conducted in the Beaufort Sea and led by Arctic Submarine Laboratory, in order to maintain expertise in Arctic-specific skills, knowledge, equipment, and procedures to enable the submarine force to safely and effectively operate in the Arctic Ocean environment.

The U.S. Navy invites you to participate in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process for the ICEX Supplemental Environmental Assessment/Overseas Environmental Assessment (SEA/OEA) during the public comment period. The menu on the left side of the screen will have the current draft Supplemental EA/OEA, and the Public Comment button will be activated during the comment period.
