Public Involvement

Draft EA Public Meeting

The Navy invites the public to attend a public meeting to learn about the Proposed Action and environmental analysis. Subject matter experts will be available at information stations to answer questions. The public may arrive at any time during the specified hours. There will not be a formal presentation. The public meeting will be held at the following time and location:

June 4, 2026, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The Draft EA is available for public review on the Documents page. All interested persons, agencies, and organizations are encouraged to attend the public meeting, review the Draft EA, and Submit Comments.

Public Comment Period

The Navy is accepting written comments on the Draft EA during the 30-day public comment period from May 27, 2026 to June 25, 2026. The Draft EA is available on the Documents page and at the following local libraries:

All comments must be postmarked or submitted electronically on or before 11:59 p.m. PDT on June 25, 2026, to be considered in the development of the Final EA.
