Public Involvement
Public Meetings
In support of the National Environmental Policy Act and National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 guidelines and regulations, the Action Proponents held two public meetings during the Draft SEIS/OEIS public review and comment period. Meetings included informational poster stations staffed by project representatives who answered questions about the Proposed Action and environmental analysis. The Action Proponents gave a brief presentation followed by a public oral comment session. Comments were also accepted in writing at the public meetings. Interpreters for CHamoru (Guam meeting) and Chamorro and Carolinian (Saipan meeting) were available.

Outreach Meetings

Outreach meetings were held to provide information about the project and answer questions about the Proposed Action and environmental analysis. Recorded and written comments were accepted at the outreach meetings.
