Due to the federal government shutdown, the Navy has postponed the public meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, at the Coronado Community Center, 1845 Strand Way, Coronado, CA, regarding the Draft Environmental Assessment for home basing of the V-22 Osprey aircraft at Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island.
This public meeting will be rescheduled once the federal government re-opens. Once the meeting is rescheduled, the Navy will notify the public of the new date. The public comment period will be extended commensurate with the time of the delay.
